  74.                     These notes describe the IRIX Compiler Execution
  75.                     Environment (_c_o_m_p_i_l_e_r__e_o_e), version 7.2 from
  76.                     Silicon Graphics, Inc.  The IRIX Compiler EOE
  77.                     contains compiler execution utilites such as _r_l_d
  78.                     and those base compiler libraries supplied as
  79.                     DSOs (dynamic shared objects).  DSOs are
  80.                     discussed in the _d_s_o(_5) man page.  The IRIX
  81.                     Compiler EOE supports MIPSpro compilers in
  82.                     either 64-bit, 32-bit, or high performance 32-
  83.                     bit (n32) compilation modes.
  84.
  85.                     This subsystem contains exactly the same runtime
  86.                     libraries as were released for _c_o_m_p_i_l_e_r__e_o_e and
  87.                     _c__e_o_e on IRIX 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 respectively.
  88.                     Patch 2016 contains the corresponding runtime
  89.                     libraries with both bug fixes and new features
  90.                     for MIPSpro 7.2.
  91.
  92.                     Note:  Packaged with this software is a separate
  93.                            sheet that contains the Software License
  94.                            Agreement.  This software is provided to
  95.                            you solely under the terms and conditions
  96.                            of the Software License Agreement.
  97.                            Please take a few moments to review the

  144.                     The 7.2 IRIX Compiler EOE software
  145.                     (_c_o_m_p_i_l_e_r__e_o_e) includes these subsystems:
  146.
  147.                     NOTE: The runtime libraries (DSOs) in these
  148.                     subsystems are identical to what was shipped on
  149.                     the corresponding IRIX releases and are provided
  150.                     as a convenience. However, the subsystems will
  151.                     appear as upgrades under inst, because changes
  152.                     have been made to certain non-runtime library
  153.                     files.
  154.
  155.                     If, however, you need the latest runtime library
  156.                     fixes you must install the subsystems from patch
  157.                     2016 on top of this image.
